Gary L. Frost
Gary is a graduate of Mount Union College and Ashland Theological Seminary. He has pastored for 23 years in both Youngstown, Ohio and Brooklyn, New York. He has twice served as a vice president at the North American Mission Board (Southern Baptist Convention) in Alpharetta, Georgia under two administrations. While in Alpharetta he also served as National Prayer Coordinator for that entity. Gary was called to serve in New York City as executive director of the Metropolitan New York Baptist Association working with over 200 churches. While in New York he also served as president of Concerts of Prayer Greater New York and Director of Emerging Leadership at the New York City Leadership Center. More recently he has served as National Facilitator for Prayer with the Mission America Coalition and The Table Coalition. In addition, he is serving as a corporate chaplain for Corporate Chaplains of America.
Gary and his wife Lynette have been married 42 years. They have 6 children, 6 grandchildren and have served as foster parents for more than 40 children. They are the co-founders of a ministry to homeless and home-challenged pregnant women known as Eagle’s Nest Life Equipping Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
Finally, the passage of scripture that has most impacted Gary's service for Christ are the words of Jesus recorded in John 15:5:
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing ..."
